The proposed PUD will follow the intent of the City of Westfield to promote hospitality and tourism by
creating a unique destination for the general public, and Grand Park visitors. With the Link Observatory
projecting a large number of visitors to it’s complex, combined with the Westfield Entertainment
Complex. Which will house both indoor and outdoor go-karting, Jay Howard Racing Team and School,
Laser Flash, bowling, arcades, Jump park, and a music/movie/meeting flex space. It is anticipated that
this destination will draw a large number of visitors from over a 3-hour drive time area.
The project is a two-phase project with the Westfield Entertainment Complex breaking ground Spring of
2020 which is phase I. Phase II will be when Link Observatory is ready to start their first building which is
subject to their fundraising efforts which is projected to be within the next 2 to 3 years.
